OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The administration of an estate by administrators of an estate under the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the administration of an estate by administrators of an estate is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959.
2. The matter has been examined. Every administrator of an estate carrying on the administration of an estate shall make an application in Form I to the Family Court within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of an estate is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
