STANDING ORDER

To

All Registrars of the Authority,

Subject: The management of common areas by associations of allottees under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of common areas by associations of allottees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every association of allottees carrying on the management of common areas shall make an application in Form C to the Rent Controller within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Registrar of the Authority shall ensure that occupancy certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Rent Controller within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
