STANDING ORDER

All Joints Director General of Foreign Trade,

Subject: The export of services by exporters of services under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1962, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1962 (Maharashtra Act 3 of 1962), the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the export of services by exporters of services.

2. The matter has been examined. Every exporter of services carrying on the export of services shall make an application in Form ANF-1 to the Director General within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Joint Director General of Foreign Trade shall ensure that importer-exporter code is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director General within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
