STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Collectors,

Subject: The safety of a school building by owners of a school building under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the safety of a school building by owners of a school building.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a school building carrying on the safety of a school building shall make an application in Form G to the Civil Defence Controller within three days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that relief material is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Civil Defence Controller within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
