OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The occupation of premises by occupiers under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the occupation of premises by occupiers is to be regulated under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form H to the Municipal Council within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of premises is undertaken, and the Municipal Council shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
