OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a working women's hostel by working women's hostels under the Goa Children's Act, 2003, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the running of a working women's hostel by working women's hostels is to be regulated under the Goa Children's Act, 2003.

2. The matter has been examined. Every working women's hostel carrying on the running of a working women's hostel shall make an application in Form IV to the State Commission for Women within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a working women's hostel is undertaken, and the State Commission for Women shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Goa.
