OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Service in the Force by enrolled persons under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which service in the Force by enrolled persons is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.

2. The matter has been examined. Every enrolled person carrying on service in the Force shall make an application in Form D to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service in the Force is undertaken, and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
