STANDING ORDER

To

All Court Officers,

Subject: The typing of pleadings for reward by court typists under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the typing of pleadings for reward by court typists.

2. The matter has been examined. Every court typist carrying on the typing of pleadings for reward shall make an application in Form B to the Registrar General within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Court Officer shall ensure that document is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar General within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
