OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of an inam by inamdars is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 2 to the Settlement Officer within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of an inam is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
