OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods is to be regulated under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a warehouse of inflammable goods carrying on the storage of inflammable goods shall make an application in Form C to the National Authority within one day, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of inflammable goods is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within one day of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Gujarat.
