STANDING ORDER

To

All Probation Officers,

Subject: The provision of services to aggrieved persons by service providers under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act 10 of 1988), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the provision of services to aggrieved persons by service providers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every service provider carrying on the provision of services to aggrieved persons shall make an application in Form II to the Juvenile Justice Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Probation Officer shall ensure that protection order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Juvenile Justice Board within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
