STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistant Charity Commissioners,

Subject: The conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Andhra Pradesh Act 35 of 2001), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of a religious fair by contractors for a religious fair.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for a religious fair carrying on the conduct of a religious fair shall make an application in Form B to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Assistant Charity Commissioner shall ensure that audit report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
