STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Tahsildars,

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Ports Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Deputy Tahsildar shall ensure that land revenue receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Rajasthan.
