STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputies Director of Education,

Subject: The imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Environment Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vocational training centre carrying on the imparting of vocational training shall make an application in Form G to the Council within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Director of Education shall ensure that attendance register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Council within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Gujarat.
