OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of an institution by institutions under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of an institution by institutions is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every institution carrying on the running of an institution shall make an application in Form A to the District Education Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of an institution is undertaken, and the District Education Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
