STANDING ORDER

To

All Taxing Officers,

Subject: The conduct of court auctions by court auctioneers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of court auctions by court auctioneers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every court auctioneer carrying on the conduct of court auctions shall make an application in Form F to the Bar Council within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Taxing Officer shall ensure that register of suits is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Bar Council within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
