STANDING ORDER

To

All Municipal Commissioners,

Subject: The carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dangerous or offensive trade carrying on the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade shall make an application in Form E to the Development Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Municipal Commissioner shall ensure that vending certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Development Authority within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
