STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Andhra Pradesh Act 35 of 2001), the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of trust property on lease by lessees of trust property.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of trust property carrying on the holding of trust property on lease shall make an application in Form G to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that inventory of jewels is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
