STANDING ORDER
To
All Estate Officers,
Subject: The letting of premises by landlords under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Buildings (Regulation of Letting, Rent and Eviction) Act, 1972 (Uttar Pradesh Act 13 of 1972), the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the letting of premises by landlords.
2. The matter has been examined. Every landlord carrying on the letting of premises shall make an application in Form F to the Adjudicating Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. The Estate Officer shall ensure that brochure is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Adjudicating Officer within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
