STANDING ORDER

To

All District Education Officers,

Subject: The imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vocational training centre carrying on the imparting of vocational training shall make an application in Form F to the Director of Education within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The District Education Officer shall ensure that admission register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Education within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Consumer Affairs Department, Government of Gujarat.
