OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a child care institution by child care institutions under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a child care institution by child care institutions is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1988.

2. The matter has been examined. Every child care institution carrying on the running of a child care institution shall make an application in Form VIII to the Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a child care institution is undertaken, and the Commission shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
