New Delhi, dated the 25th April, 2011

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the holding of land assessed to revenue by holders of land is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall make an application in Form 8 to the State Government within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land assessed to revenue is undertaken, and the State Government shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
