STANDING ORDER
To
All Extension Officers,
Subject: The running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre under the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Kerala Act 13 of 1994), the Home Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall make an application in Form 7 to the Gram Panchayat within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. The Extension Officer shall ensure that register of buildings is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Gram Panchayat within fourteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Kerala.
