OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The imparting of education through open learning by operators of an open school under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the imparting of education through open learning by operators of an open school is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of an open school carrying on the imparting of education through open learning shall make an application in Form G to the Council within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the imparting of education through open learning is undertaken, and the Council shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
