OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative housing society carrying on the management of a co-operative housing society shall make an application in Form C to the Competent Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of a co-operative housing society is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
