STANDING ORDER

To

All District Collectors,

Subject: The storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Social Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a warehouse of inflammable goods carrying on the storage of inflammable goods shall make an application in Form B to the District Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The District Collector shall ensure that stock is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Authority within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
