STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the collection of donations for a charity by collectors of donations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every collector of donations carrying on the collection of donations for a charity shall make an application in Form E to the Commissioner of Endowments within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that scheme is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner of Endowments within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
