STANDING ORDER

To

All Registrars,

Subject: The imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre under the Karnataka Education Act, 1995, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Education Act, 1995 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1995), the Education Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vocational training centre carrying on the imparting of vocational training shall make an application in Form D to the Government of Karnataka within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Registrar shall ensure that recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Karnataka within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Karnataka.
