STANDING ORDER

To

All Tahsildars,

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950 (Andhra Pradesh Act 21 of 1950), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Tahsildar shall ensure that land revenue receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
