OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form F to the Charity Commissioner within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a temple is undertaken, and the Charity Commissioner shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
