OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The management of property in the custody of the court by court receivers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the management of property in the custody of the court by court receivers is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every court receiver carrying on the management of property in the custody of the court shall make an application in Form D to the Bar Council within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of property in the custody of the court is undertaken, and the Bar Council shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
