OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Enrolment as a cadet by cadets under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which enrolment as a cadet by cadets is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every cadet carrying on enrolment as a cadet shall make an application in Form A to the Defence Estates Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which enrolment as a cadet is undertaken, and the Defence Estates Officer shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
