OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a hostel by hostels under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a hostel by hostels is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hostel carrying on the running of a hostel shall make an application in Form B to the School Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a hostel is undertaken, and the School Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
