OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Excise Act, 1910.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
