STANDING ORDER

To

All Licensing Officers,

Subject: The publication of a periodical by publishers under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the publication of a periodical by publishers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every publisher carrying on the publication of a periodical shall make an application in Form VII to the Registering Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. The Licensing Officer shall ensure that set-top box is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registering Authority within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
