OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the cultivation of land as a sharecropper by sharecroppers is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sharecropper carrying on the cultivation of land as a sharecropper shall make an application in Form 1 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as a sharecropper is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
