STANDING ORDER
To
All Deputy Collectors,
Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Fire Service Act, 1999 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 1999), the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals.
2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form B to the Director of Fire Services within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. The Deputy Collector shall ensure that fire safety certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Fire Services within fifteen days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
