OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The declaration of assets and liabilities by declarants of assets under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the declaration of assets and liabilities by declarants of assets is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975.

2. The matter has been examined. Every declarant of assets carrying on the declaration of assets and liabilities shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the declaration of assets and liabilities is undertaken, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh shall dispose of it within five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
