OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The use of water for industry by users of water for industry under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the use of water for industry by users of water for industry is to be regulated under the Delhi Jal Board Act, 1998.

2. The matter has been examined. Every user of water for industry carrying on the use of water for industry shall make an application in Form A to the Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of water for industry is undertaken, and the Tribunal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
