OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Participation in competitions by athletes under the Kerala Sports Act, 2000, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which participation in competitions by athletes is to be regulated under the Kerala Sports Act, 2000.

2. The matter has been examined. Every athlete carrying on participation in competitions shall make an application in Form H to the Disciplinary Panel within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which participation in competitions is undertaken, and the Disciplinary Panel shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala.
