OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme under the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme is to be regulated under the Kerala Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall make an application in Form D to the Board within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Kerala.
