OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh on the manner in which the wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors is to be regulated under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form D to the Excise Appellate Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
