OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The publication of proactive disclosures by publishers of proactive disclosures under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the publication of proactive disclosures by publishers of proactive disclosures is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975.

2. The matter has been examined. Every publisher of proactive disclosures carrying on the publication of proactive disclosures shall make an application in Form E to the Central Information Commission within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the publication of proactive disclosures is undertaken, and the Central Information Commission shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
