OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The conduct of adventure sports by adventure sports operators under the Bombay Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra on the manner in which the conduct of adventure sports by adventure sports operators is to be regulated under the Bombay Prevention of Gambling Act, 1887.

2. The matter has been examined. Every adventure sports operator carrying on the conduct of adventure sports shall make an application in Form B to the National Sports Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conduct of adventure sports is undertaken, and the National Sports Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra.
