OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Gujarat on the manner in which the running of a parking lot by operators of a parking lot is to be regulated under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a parking lot carrying on the running of a parking lot shall make an application in Form F to the Municipal Council within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a parking lot is undertaken, and the Municipal Council shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Gujarat.
