OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The production of agricultural produce by producers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Punjab on the manner in which the production of agricultural produce by producers is to be regulated under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961.

2. The matter has been examined. Every producer carrying on the production of agricultural produce shall make an application in Form F to the Government of Punjab within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the production of agricultural produce is undertaken, and the Government of Punjab shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Punjab.
