OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The operation of critical information infrastructure by operators of a critical information infrastructure under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Act, 2022, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on the manner in which the operation of critical information infrastructure by operators of a critical information infrastructure is to be regulated under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Act, 2022.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a critical information infrastructure carrying on the operation of critical information infrastructure shall make an application in Form A to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of critical information infrastructure is undertaken, and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
