OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The provision of services to persons with disabilities by services provider to persons with disabilities under the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2018, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Social Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra on the manner in which the provision of services to persons with disabilities by services provider to persons with disabilities is to be regulated under the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2018.

2. The matter has been examined. Every service provider to persons with disabilities carrying on the provision of services to persons with disabilities shall make an application in Form V to the Government of Maharashtra within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the provision of services to persons with disabilities is undertaken, and the Government of Maharashtra shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra.
