STANDING ORDER

All Sports Officers,

Subject: The representation of athletes by sports agents under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the representation of athletes by sports agents.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports agent carrying on the representation of athletes shall make an application in Form C to the National Sports Board within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Sports Officer shall ensure that recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Sports Board within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Telangana.
