STANDING ORDER

To

All Tahsildars,

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Titling Act, 2023 (Andhra Pradesh Act 27 of 2023), the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 12 to the State Government within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Tahsildar shall ensure that record of rights is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
